At any walk of life and in any of a miriad of ways, Art can help us express ourselves, detail our struggles and celebrate our victories. Sammi Hansen will lead a series of Trans Artists, Performers and Craftspeople talking about how their arts have improved their lives and the challenges they face.
Sammi Hansen (She/Her) is a trans woman originally from Brooklyn, NY, now living in Louisville, KY. She operates Argent Engraving, a laser engraving and craft business. After beginning transition, she needed a creative outlet and her business is her art.
The Transgender Wellness Coalition promotes healthy living and access to gender affirming care for transgender individuals, and access to resources for families and friends of transgender people.
